The RHI will be available foe domestic systems in 2012. This scheme will pay you for the amount of renewable heat you generate through your system.
This scheme is different from the Feed-In tariff as it is paid by the treasury and it doesn't involve electricity but just heat.
You can still benefit by installing a system because households still qualify for the Renewable Heat Premium Payment and will still be eligible for the RHI in 2012!
With the statement from the Government of the feedback tariff, Solar renewable power is an investment which could pay back 10% - 15% or more over twenty five years. For every Kw of electrical power collected on an existing home you will receive 43.3p per Kw Collected.
